Issues with Graded Lumber

1. Commercial buyers and sellers may have operational complaints about the lumber produced under the supervision of a CLSAB Accredited Agency.

Paragraphs 400-413 of the NLGA Standard Grading Rules for Canadian Lumber as approved by the CLSAB outline the procedures to be followed where a complaint occurs between a buyer and seller for lumber sold under the NLGA Standard Grading Rules for Canadian Lumber. Paragraphs 400-413 outline the responsibilities of the CLSAB Accredited Agency.

Contact the CLSAB at info@clsab.ca with the name of the CLSAB Accredited Agency whose stamp appears on the lumber and the CLSAB will provide the contact information for the Agency.

2. If a member of the public has an issue with the quality of lumber they have purchased, they may contact the CLSAB at info@clsab.ca who will provide the contact information for the Accredited Agency whose stamp appears on the lumber.
