CLSAB`s Board of Directors is carefully chosen to provide a balance between forest industry members (lumber producers) and lumber users, consumers, standards bodies, research organizations, financial institutions, and government agencies. To retain the independence of the Board, the number of outside directors must outnumber those from the forest industry.

This Board sets overall policy and makes all final decisions for:

• enforcement actions
• planning
• staffing
