Lapse and Termination of CLSAB Accreditation for NorthWest Territories Forest Industries Association

Memo to Members/Grading Agencied and Board of Directors

On June 18, 2010 the CLSAB accreditation for the NorthWest Territories Forest Industries Association (NWTFIA) was terminated.

Upon review of CLSAB and NWTFIA records it was confirmed that NWTFIA had not graded, grade stamped, or supervised the grading, or grade stamping of any lumber for a period of two years. In accordance with Section 16.0 of the CLSAB Regulations the CLSAB accreditation of NWTFIA lapsed and was subsequently terminated.

If NWTFIA requests accreditation by the CLSAB at a future date this lapse and termination of accreditation does not prejudice a re-application.

If you have any questions regarding this memorandum please do not hesitate to contact me by email at
